Eggplant 12 Films

Independent film production company Eggplant 12 wanted a website that reflects their high-quality, intimate and engaging films.

Blue Lizard delivered a snazzy, classy website which is the perfect showcase medium for Eggplant's range of skills and services.

Using the latest in Flash Video technology, Eggplant's stylish website is imaginative, fun, and yet remains very accessible to vision-impaired visitors. This sophisticated website delivers high-definition web video and audio within tight video file sizes, thus enhancing the experience of all visitors whilst keeping download times to a minimum.

Big Wide Talk

Big Wide Talk is a national children's charity, which aims to bring together parents, educators, childcare practitioners and the children themselves, to ensure that parents strongly influence the delivery of children's services.

Its large network of local groups gather a very large amount of data, all of which is collected through their extranet using their online "splat map" tool. The Blue Lizard delivered a redesign and total rewrite of the extranet, overcoming huge technical challenges to make the "splat map" tool integrate seamlessly, and work for all local group users, regardless of their technical inclination or ability. A central deliverable of this project was the new CMS (content management system) that we created using PHP and MySQL.

Islington Volunteer Centre

A key player amongst the voluntary sector in Islington, the Islington Volunteer Centre acts as a broker between volunteers and organisations offering volunteering opportunities.

For their new website, IVC wanted to revamp their image, as well as providing full accessibility. The Blue Lizard delivered a modern, crisp, and fully accessible site, with stunning aesthetics, which strictly adheres to the W3C coding standards and guidelines on accessibility.

La Petite Ecole

Ecole

When La Petite Ecole, a French speaking Saturday childrens group, wanted a web presence to help expand their membership, they turned to The Blue Lizard. We delivered a simple, yet sophisticated, typically French site in an exclusive bilingual style. Using Cascading Style Sheets for layout and navigation button rollover effects and PHP scripting for contact form validation and delivery, this site is simple to navigate and use.

Haringey User Network

The Haringey User Network is a new initiative which will be officially launched very soon. It has been set up to support mental health service users in Haringey and provide a central platform for them. HUN currently provides mental health and well-being training, a central directory of self-help agencies, mental health news and a user forum.

East London Organic Gardeners

ELOG

ELOG is a local group affiliated to the Henry Doubleday Research Association (HDRA). The Blue Lizard gave their website a fresh new look including some stunning garden-themed photography, making the whole site altogether more modern and inviting, while retaining its charm and simplicity.
